What happens when my FD matures?

Depending on the "maturity instructions" given by you while creating the Fixed Deposit (FD), the FD principal and interest earned may either be refunded to your linked account if you had chosen the "Refund" option, or it may be re-invested in a new FD of same tenure with the same bank if you had chosen the "Re-Invest" option.
