Securities Transaction Tax

Ventura adheres to the Securities Transaction Tax (STT) on transactions conducted on exchanges. STT is applicable on both buy and sell sides for equity delivery, Intraday, and F&O transactions.

Transaction/Turnover Charges

Exchanges such as NSE and BSE impose transaction or turnover charges based on the value of transactions.

Stamp charges

In compliance with the Indian Stamp Act of 1899, Ventura applies stamp charges mandated by the Government of India for transactions involving instruments on stock exchanges and depositories.

GST

GST is levied on the services rendered by Ventura, including brokerage, SEBI charges, Clearing, DP charges, and transaction charges, at a rate of 18%.

SEBI Charges

Ventura passes on SEBI charges, set at 0.0001% on turnover imposed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India for market regulation purposes.

DP (Depository participant) charges

For stocks sold, Ventura applies DP charges of ₹15 plus GST per scrip, as mandated by the depository (CDSL) and depository participant (Ventura).

Payment gateway charges

Ventura offers free transactions processed through UPI and Axis, ICICI, HDFC, Kotak, and Yes Bank banking services.

Mutual Fund segment

In the mutual fund segment, Ventura charges ₹50 per transaction for redemptions (excluding Liquid Funds).

Payment methods and obligations:

Ventura facilitates online fund transfers through designated bank accounts for pay-ins and payouts. Clients are expected to meet financial obligations promptly to avoid penalties, and any shortfall in F&O accounts must be settled immediately.
