What is the pre-market session in Ventura?

The pre-market session is the 15-minute period from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM on trading days, during which investors can place equity orders to discover the opening prices of shares and absorb overnight news, leading to a more stable market open at 9:15 AM. This session includes phases for order matching preparation and the actual matching of buy and sell orders to determine the opening price.
You can place pre-market orders between 9:00 AM and 9:07 AM through Ventura’s app or trading terminal and these orders are sent to the exchange to get matched. Between 9:07 AM to 9:08 AM, the equilibrium price is derived. If your order doesn’t get executed, it will automatically move to the regular market session (after 9:15 AM) as a normal limit/market order.
