What is physical settlement of options?

We would like to inform you that an incremental margin is levied on physical delivery ITM Stock Option contracts 5 days prior to expiry. ITM Stock option positions are liable to settle physically. On expiry, ITM open positions will be closed and will be converted into equity cash delivery.
