What is a BSDA (Basic Service Demat Account)?

We would like to inform you that a Basic Services Demat Account (BSDA) is a simplified and cost-effective demat account designed by SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) to encourage small investors to participate in the securities market. The following benefits are available under BSDA:

Holdings up to ?4 lakh: No Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC).

Holdings between ?4 lakh and ?10 lakh: AMC of ?100 per annum.

Holdings exceeding ?10 lakh: The account will be converted into a regular demat account, and standard charges will apply.
