What does “eCAS statement” mean?

An eCAS (Electronic Consolidated Account Statement) is a digital statement that gives you a consolidated view of all your investments in one place.

Here’s what it includes:
- A summary of your Demat holdings such as Equities, Bonds, and ETFs
- Details of your Mutual Fund investments
- Holdings and transactions across all accounts linked to your PAN
- Issued periodically (monthly or on transaction activity)

The eCAS is generated by Indian depositories such as Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) and National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL).

Its purpose is to make portfolio tracking easier by giving you one consolidated statement instead of multiple reports from different platforms.
