What is the CPR Formula in Trading?

The Central Pivot Range (CPR) is a popular technical analysis indicator used for intraday trading. It is calculated using a stock’s previous day’s High, Low, and Close levels and helps identify key support and resistance levels for the next trading session.
CPR Formula:
- Pivot Point (P) = (High + Low + Close) ÷ 3
- Bottom Central (BC) = (High + Low) ÷ 2
- Top Central (TC) = (Pivot − BC) + Pivot
You can use these levels to gauge market direction and plan entries and exits.
