But the stock gave up some of its gains to close at ₹24.06, up 8.33%.

What’s Next for Trident?
Trident’s yarn business generated revenue of ₹1,018.96 crore in Q2FY27 against ₹923.64 crore a year ago. Its segment result soared sharply to ₹191.19 crore from ₹47.24 crore.
However, towel revenue declined from ₹723.46 crore to ₹570.75 crore, indicating uneven performance across the business segments.
The proposed expansion could add to manufacturing capacity in the coming years. The financial impact will be driven by project execution, textile demand, capacity utilisation, and funding costs.
For now, the key developments are Trident’s enhanced quarterly profitability and lined-up investments, but revenue recovery and progress on expansion projects will decide if the earnings growth can be sustained.
