Indian equities could see stock-specific action on Wednesday, September 2, as several companies announced business updates, new orders, project commissioning, regulatory developments and operational performance figures. Here are the key stocks that investors should track.
Reliance Industries
Reliance Industries could remain in focus after its FMCG arm, Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL), entered India’s ice cream market with the launch of Bombay Creamery. The portfolio includes cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks, with prices starting at ₹10. The entry marks another expansion for Reliance’s consumer business as it seeks to build scale across India's large and growing FMCG market.
Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp reported a 4.5% year-on-year increase in domestic dispatches to 5,42,305 units in August 2026 from 5,19,139 units in the corresponding month last year. Strong scooter sales helped offset a decline in motorcycle volumes. The improvement in domestic volumes makes the stock important to watch amid continued focus on two-wheeler demand and the company's product mix.
Tata Motors and Adani Green Energy
Tata Motors secured all prior regulatory approvals required under the relevant sector rules for its proposed acquisition of Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco Group. The development represents another step towards completing the proposed transaction.
Meanwhile, Adani Green Energy commissioned a 139 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat. Following the commissioning, the company's operational renewable energy generation capacity increased to 20,280.8 MW, crossing the 20 GW milestone. Its operational battery energy storage capacity stands at 3,551 MWh.
Ashiana Housing, Wipro and Welspun Corp

Welspun Corp signed an MoU with Perma-Pipe International Holdings and stakeholders associated with Jordan's National Water Carrier Project to develop pipe manufacturing and advanced coating facilities in Jordan.

Texmaco Rail & Engineering received a ₹24.48 crore order from Transport Corporation of India for the manufacture, supply and commissioning of one rake comprising ACT-1 and BVCM wagons. The order is scheduled for execution within 16 weeks from the LOI.
