L&T, Tata Capital, Paradeep Phosphates and Birlasoft are among the key stocks in focus after reporting strong June-quarter earnings, while several others could react to new orders, management changes and corporate developments. L&T posted 14% profit growth with a ₹7.79 lakh crore order book, while Tata Capital's profit rose 56% and Paradeep Phosphates announced a ₹250 crore investment in an Aluminium Fluoride plant. RVNL, LIC, NTPC and Euro Panel Products are also in focus following an order win, leadership changes and renewable energy developments, respectively.

However, some stocks will continue to be watched even after declaring June quarter results, such as Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Tata Capital, Paradeep Phosphates, Birlasoft, Phoenix Mills, DCM Shriram, RPG Life Sciences and Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India that have shown a good profit growth. On the other hand, VST Industries witnessed poor quarterly numbers, which make it an attractive stock to watch out for.

Profit at L&T was up 14% YoY at ₹4,123 crore, with revenue up 7% at ₹67,942 crore. While EBITDA declined by 3% and operating margins came down to 9%, one could perhaps feel relaxed about the solid execution pipeline of the company. Group order inflow went up by 14% to ₹1.08 lakh crore, with the consolidated order book at ₹7.79 lakh crore, indicating good business visibility.

Tata Capital has shown an excellent performance with profit increasing 56% to ₹1,547 crore. Income was up 23% at ₹4,455 crore and assets under management increased by 22% to ₹2.90 lakh crore, indicating good growth in lending.

The profit of some real estate developers like Phoenix Mills has been up 23.3% at ₹296.9 crore, with revenue up 12.8%.

Corporate developments add to investor interest

The company Paradeep Phosphates announced good quarterly results where profit increased by 23.9% and revenues grew by 36%. Also, Paradeep Phosphates decided to invest approximately ₹250 crore to set up an Aluminium Fluoride (AlF3) plant at Paradeep, which signals that the firm intends to increase its production capacity.

The company Birlasoft reported very good results, where profit grew by 51.3%, and DCM Shriram reported over six times increase in profits. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that earnings of the firm DCM Shriram were assisted by extraordinary income and big tax write-back.

The company Graphite India will continue facing tough conditions, as the U.S. Department of Commerce announced preliminary imposition of countervailing duty at 3.68% on large diameter graphite electrodes exported from the company.

The company Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) became noticeable due to the winning of ₹358.97 crore EPC contract from East Central Railway for railway doubling projects.

The other stock in focus is Euro Panel Products after commissioning a 2.2 MW solar project in Surat. The total solar capacity of the company now stands at 3.6 MW, which allows the company to produce 50% of the electricity needs of their factory from captive solar energy.

In all, quarterly results, fresh orders, management changes, regulations, and bulk transactions are bound to make L&T, Tata Capital, Paradeep Phosphates, Birlasoft, Graphite India, RVNL, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), NTPC, Euro Panel Products, Gandhar Oil Refinery India, Aqylon Nexus, Asian Granito India and Raajmarg Infra Investment Trust some of the stocks in focus for the day.
