Why Indo-MIM Shares Surged After Listing

The favorable launch has been helped by strong institutional investment interest, high net worth individuals’ interest, and the leading position of the company in the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) industry.

Indo-MIM is a leading manufacturer of metal injection molding products worldwide and has the world’s largest MIM production capacity. Indo-MIM offers comprehensive manufacturing solutions to its clients and supplies precision components to various original equipment manufacturers (OEM) across the world.

Additionally, investors are hopeful about the future growth potential of the company due to the China+1 manufacturing initiative of the world, the Indian manufacturing initiative, government policies, and production-linked incentives (PLIs).

The global market for MIM products is forecasted to grow from $3.2 billion in 2026 to $4.7 billion by 2035, at a CAGR of 4.4%.

Why Indo-MIM Shares Could Witness Volatility Ahead

Despite all the positive moves in terms of listing, the experts feel there could be some amount of volatility in the coming days because of the steep increase in the share price. After the first day move, the stock will trade at a much higher valuation than its IPO price, making many investors book profits on their investments.

According to the market players, the investors who have been allotted the IPO can hold onto the stocks for a much longer period of time, whereas the short-term players may face volatility in the stock because of the steep listing gain.

The company intends to utilise ₹400 crore out of the net proceeds for prepayment or repayment of some of its borrowings.
