Voltamp Transformers Limited (VTL) is an Indian manufacturer of energy‑efficient transformers with over 62 years of industry experience and more than 80,000 installations across domestic and international markets. The company specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of oil‑filled power and distribution transformers, dry‑type transformers, compact substations and ring main units (RMUs), supported by a pan‑India after‑sales service network for maintenance, testing, repairs, overhaul and spares. Its solutions cater to power utilities, PSUs, EPCs and sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Steel, Cement, Data Centres, Green Energy and commercial infrastructure, delivering up to the 220 kV class for more than three decades.

 

Incorporated on March 2, 1967 and converted into a public company in 2006, VTL is headquartered in Vadodara with manufacturing plants at Makarpura (Vadodara) and Savli (District Vadodara). Makarpura manufactures power transformers up to 160 MVA, 220 kV, while Savli produces distribution transformers, dry‑type transformers, RMUs and compact substations. The company operates 16 offices across India, serving customers pan‑India and in 27 countries.
