Gokul Refoils and Solvent Limited (GRSL) is a public limited company engaged in the processing of oilseeds, refining of edible and non-edible oils, trading of agro commodities, and supplying related services. The Company’s equity shares are listed on the BSE and NSE, with its registered office at Sidhpur (District Patan, Gujarat) and corporate office in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad.

GRSL operates a state-of-the-art production facility at Sidhpur, where it processes a wide range of edible and non-edible oils and trades in agro commodities, including spices, across domestic and international markets. Over the years, it has built strong capabilities in both refining and trading, leveraging Gujarat’s strategic agricultural ecosystem.

Product Portfolio

The Company’s edible oil portfolio includes:

• Groundnut Oil 
• Mustard Oil and Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil

• Refined Soybean Oil 
• Palm Oil / Palmolein 
• Refined Sunflower Oil 

On the non-edible and industrial side, GRSL produces Castor Oil and its derivatives, which are used in industries such as:

• Cold-resistant plastics 
• Pharmaceuticals and perfumery 

Additionally, castor meal—a by-product—is marketed as an organic fertiliser. The Company exports castor oil to over 20 countries, including China, the European Union (EU), and the United States (US).

Innovation and R&D

A landmark achievement for GRSL has been the establishment of its Research & Development Centre in 2017 (relocated from Kandla to Sidhpur in 2021). The Centre focuses on oleochemical derivatives, especially castor oil-based bioproducts.
Key developments include:

• Biopolyol products for use in adhesives, sealants, elastomers, and paints. 
• Wet chemistry labs and pilot plants for hydrogenation and pyrolysis, enabling in-house testing and process optimisation. 

The Company is also a member of the World Castor Sustainability Forum (WCSF), demonstrating its commitment to building a sustainable and traceable castor value chain in India.

• The Group has 2 subsidiaries (including one wholly owned subsidiary and one step-down subsidiary). 
• It has one associate company — Gujarat Gokul Power Limited, held at 48.36%, which is yet to commence operations.
