Several companies have announced significant business developments that could influence their shares during Monday’s trading session.

Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank

Reliance Industries will be closely watched after its subsidiary Jio Platforms received the observation letter from SEBI for the DRHP filed for its proposed IPO. The development marks an important regulatory step towards Jio’s proposed listing and could attract investor attention to Reliance’s digital and telecom business.

HDFC Bank is also in focus after MD & CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan decided not to seek reappointment. He will retire from the bank’s services effective October 26, 2026. The Board has initiated a fast-track process to identify and appoint his successor ahead of the transition.

Max Estates, Prestige Estates and Infrastructure Stocks

Max Estates announced a major land acquisition in West Delhi. The company will acquire the entire ownership interest in promoter-owned land-holding companies that collectively own around 84.71 acres. The transaction will be executed through a non-cash share swap, while the land parcel has an estimated GDV of ₹10,000-12,000 crore, making the development strategically significant for the company.

Prestige Estates Projects has launched Prestige Palm Court in Madhavaram, North Chennai. The 7.98-acre residential development carries an estimated GDV of ₹1,330 crore.

Among infrastructure companies, Ashoka Buildcon received a ₹602.16 crore LoA from Rail Vikas Nigam, while Avantel secured a ₹117.88 crore DRDO contract for a Ground Segment Hub. NBCC also signed an MoU with NHPC to execute infrastructure projects across India at a 5.5% PMC fee.

Tata Chemicals, Cipla and Aurobindo Pharma

Tata Chemicals remains in focus after its US subsidiary was declared the successful bidder for North American soda ash customer contracts of Searles Valley Minerals. The contracts represent more than 0.5 million tonnes of customer orders through December 2028 and are expected to generate revenue exceeding $110 million.

In the pharmaceutical space, Cipla said the USFDA classified its Unit 3 inspection at InvaGen Pharmaceuticals as VAI. Meanwhile, Aurobindo Pharma reported that the USFDA concluded its inspection of Apitoria Pharma’s API facility with three procedural observations.

Energy, EV and Manufacturing Stocks

Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions approved a term sheet to procure 310 wind turbine generators of 5 MW each from Envision Energy India, covering 1,550 MW of wind power projects.

Ola Electric Mobility received sanction for ₹95.81 crore in incentives under the automobile and auto-components PLI scheme. Mahindra & Mahindra expanded its Battery-as-a-Service programme across its electric-origin SUV portfolio.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) secured its first nuclear-sector order for generator transformers for NPCIL’s Kaiga Units 5 & 6 project, marking an important entry into the nuclear power supply chain.

Other Key Developments

Indraprastha Gas increased CNG prices across Delhi-NCR by ₹3.89 per kg, citing renewed West Asia tensions. Oil India signed MoUs with four Haryana municipalities for CBG and waste-to-energy projects involving 5,000 tonnes of municipal waste processing capacity per day.

Knowledge Realty Trust will see an OFS by Blackstone entities involving up to 25.03% stake at a floor price of ₹108 per unit. Meanwhile, LIC Housing Finance appointed Sandeep Kumar as MD & CEO, while Cupid received in-principle approval for a manufacturing venture in South Africa. Axiscades Technologies will acquire up to 90% of Cloud Wave Technologies for approximately ₹234 crore.
