Is BTST the same as intraday trading?

No, BTST (Buy Today, Sell Tomorrow) trading is not the same as intraday trading.
BTST trading involves purchasing shares on one trading day and selling them the following trading day before the shares are actually credited to the trader's Demat account.
However, Intraday refers to squaring off the position on the same day itself.
