Yes, DP (Depository Participant) charges are applicable on mutual funds when they are sold from a Demat account. These charges are levied by your DP (broker) on behalf of the depository (NSDL or CDSL) for each sell transaction that involves debiting your Demat account. They are not charged for purchasing or holding the units.
