RIL is all set to conduct its 49th AGM on June 19th, and analysts are waiting for any news about the growth drivers of RIL, which include Jio Platforms, Reliance Retail, AI-related activities, and green energy plans. Even though Reliance Industries has seen unprecedented performance in FY26, the market is now waiting for any signals from the company about monetization.

Record FY26 Performance Sets the Stage

Revenue for FY26 was a record ₹11.76 lakh crore, while the net profit of the company for FY26 stood at ₹95,754 crore. The consolidated net profit in Q4 was ₹20,589 crore, while the dividend payout of ₹6 per equity share was also announced by the company.

In the latest quarter, Reliance said that all its business segments, including O2C Business, Digital Services and Retail, witnessed revenue growth of more than 10 percent.

Jio IPO Remains the Biggest Investor Trigger

The most anticipated item on the agenda is the announcement about the listing of Jio Platforms. Reliance had hinted that Jio would be listed in the first half of 2026. The Jio AGM will thus be of immense importance for all stakeholders looking for updates regarding the timeline, regulatory clearance, and listing process.

Estimates by the brokerages put the valuation of Jio Platform close to $180 billion. This makes it potentially one of India’s largest-ever IPOs. The Jio AGM will thus also be keenly watched by all stakeholders as Jio has ambitious plans in areas beyond telecom services.

Reliance Retail IPO and Profitability in Focus

Apart from Jio, another company that the investors are looking forward to hear news about is Reliance Retail, which has become a major catalyst for growth for the group. Currently, the company operates in over 20,000 outlets and caters to millions of customers across different platforms.

Expectations include remarks related to profitability improvement, quick commerce plans, JioMart, private label brands, and Campa and Independence. Any information regarding an IPO plan for Reliance Retail would certainly draw attention.

New Energy Projects Face Commercialisation Test

Renewable energy developments from Reliance will also be an important focus for this AGM meeting. Reliance has spent huge money in areas like solar manufacturing, battery technology, green hydrogen, and electrolyser through their Jamnagar Giga-factory complex.

The stock investors want to know more about battery gigafactory, solar modules, electrolyser manufacturing, and green hydrogen economics. Though capacity building has been discussed at previous AGM meetings, this time around the market wants to know about customers and profit timings.

AI Expansion and O2C Outlook Under Spotlight

Reliance is also expected to provide fresh insights into its artificial intelligence ambitions. The company has expanded its AI and digital infrastructure ecosystem and recently announced a collaboration with Meta for a 168 MW data centre project in Jamnagar.

Meanwhile, investors will closely monitor management commentary on the O2C and oil and gas businesses, which remain Reliance’s largest cash generators. Updates on refining margins, petrochemical demand, exports, debt reduction, telecom tariffs and capital allocation will be important indicators of how Reliance plans to balance growth investments with shareholder returns.

As Reliance enters a new phase, the key question for investors is whether its telecom, retail, AI and new energy businesses are ready to move from investment-led growth to sustained monetisation and value creation.
