About Somany Ceramics Limited

 

Somany Ceramics Limited was founded in 1968 by the late Shri Hira Lall Somany and began commercial production in March 1972, evolving over five decades into a global decor solutions brand in tiles, sanitaryware and bath fittings. The Company operates two manufacturing plants in India—Kassar (Haryana) and Kadi (Gujarat)—and maintains 23 offices domestically and a representative office in Nepal. Its products are sold across India and exported to 46 countries spanning six continents; exports contributed 3.25% of turnover in FY 2024-25. The Company reaches customers via 2,880 active dealers and 514 showrooms in India.

 

Somany’s portfolio covers ceramic and vitrified wall and floor tiles, sanitaryware, bath fittings and allied products, offering end-to-end décor solutions for homes and commercial spaces . As of March 31, 2025, Somany had 9 subsidiaries (excluding Amora Tiles Private Limited, which ceased to be a subsidiary effective December 01, 2024 as per Ind AS).
