La Opala RG Limited was founded in 1987 and pioneered the introduction of opal glass tableware in India. In 1996, the Company further expanded into crystal glassware, becoming the first Indian entity to export 24% lead crystal tableware. Over nearly four decades, La Opala has transformed everyday dining into a lifestyle statement with premium yet affordable products. The Company operates through flagship brands—La Opala, Diva, and Solitaire—that cater to a wide spectrum of consumer preferences. Its product portfolio includes opal glass dinner sets, bowls, cups, saucers, tea sets, mugs, barware, vases, and crystalware.
The Company has two manufacturing units with a combined capacity of 32,000 MTPA: Sitarganj in Uttarakhand (opalware) and Madhupur in Jharkhand (crystalware). However, operations at Madhupur were suspended in 2024-25. La Opala’s distribution network spans over 250 distributors and more than 12,000 retailers across 600 towns in India, while its international footprint extends to over 40 countries. As of March 31, 2025, the Company employed 777 people.
La Opala operates in the single business segment of manufacturing and trading opalware and crystalware products. Revenue for 2024-25 stood at Rs 331.86 crore. The Company’s presence remains predominantly domestic, supported by growing exports to more than 40 countries.
