KPI Green Energy Limited, part of the KP Group, develops, builds, owns, manages and maintains renewable power facilities as both an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and a service provider to Captive Power Producers (CPP) under the ‘Solarism’ brand. Established in 2008, the company focuses on grid‑connected solar and hybrid projects, backed by dedicated 66 KV and 11 KV power evacuation infrastructure. As of FY 2022‑23, KPI Green reported 312+ MW of cumulative capacity energised, an 846+ MW cumulative power evacuation capacity and a 1,374+ acre land bank. The company operates across multiple sites in the Bharuch and Bhavnagar districts of Gujarat, supplying power from its own plants and developing, operating and maintaining plants for CPP clients across more than 23 locations in Bharuch district.
KPI Green Energy has two subsidiaries (100% each) as on March 31, 2023. Key milestones include: commissioning its first solar plant and commencing power sales in 2016; launching the CPP business in 2018; listing on the BSE SME platform in 2019 and migrating to the main boards of BSE and NSE in 2021; achieving 100+ MW energised under IPP in 2022; and, in 2023, being renamed “KPI Green Energy Limited”, commissioning its first 26.10 MW IPP hybrid project, and crossing 300+ MW in cumulative capacity energised.
The company generates and supplies power from its own plants as an IPP and develops, operates and maintains plants for CPP clients under the ‘Solarism’ brand.
KPI Green Energy’s renewable power projects are located across the Bharuch and Bhavnagar districts of Gujarat, with more than 23 locations in Bharuch district supported by 66 KV and 11 KV transmission lines and switchyards.
As on March 31, 2023, the company has two subsidiaries, both wholly owned.
