Share

Summary:

August 2026 is seeing a busy IPO calendar, with seven companies collectively looking to raise over ₹6,200 crore between August 17 and 27. The issues span warehousing, jewellery, media, asset management, industrial instruments and logistics, offering investors a diverse set of sectors to evaluate. Horizon Industrial Parks and Lalithaa Jewellery Mart are the largest issues at ₹2,600 crore and ₹1,700 crore, respectively.

August 2026 has turned into one of the busiest months for India's primary market this year. Seven companies are opening their books for subscription between 17 and 27 August, together looking to raise more than ₹6,200 crore. The line-up is unusually varied. There is a Blackstone-backed warehousing platform, two jewellery retailers chasing very different customer segments, an alternative asset manager, a temperature sensor maker, an air freight logistics company and a film and television production house. For an Indian retail investor scrolling through a demat app, that is a lot to process in ten days. Here is a sector-wise, number-led look at all seven issues.

1. Horizon Industrial Parks (17 - 19 Aug)

This is the biggest issue of the batch at ₹2,600 crore, and it is entirely a fresh issue with no offer for sale component. Backed by global investor Blackstone, Horizon Industrial Parks operates warehousing and industrial park assets, a segment that has ridden the e-commerce and manufacturing capacity build-out of the last few years. The price band is set at ₹57 to ₹60 per share. Proceeds are earmarked largely for debt repayment, which should improve the balance sheet post-listing. Investors drawn to the logistics real estate theme will want to track occupancy levels and lease renewal rates once the RHP numbers are studied in detail. Read About Horizon Industrial Parks IPO

2. Lalithaa Jewellery Mart (17 - 19 Aug)

The second ₹1,700 crore issue to open on the same day, Lalithaa Jewellery Mart is a 1985-vintage South Indian jewellery retailer with 61 stores spread across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Puducherry. The price band is ₹190 to ₹201 per share, with a lot size of 74 shares, translating to a minimum retail investment of roughly ₹14,874. The fresh issue portion of ₹1,200 crore is meant to fund 10 new stores, while ₹500 crore is an offer for sale. Revenue jumped from about ₹16,908 crore to ₹25,040 crore year-on-year, and profit nearly tripled from ₹365 crore to ₹1,010 crore. Those are eye-catching growth numbers, though gold price movement and regional concentration remain factors worth weighing. Check Out Lalithaa Jewellery Mart IPO Details

3. Sunshine Pictures (18 - 20 Aug)

A rare media and entertainment listing, Sunshine Pictures is a film and television production company raising ₹282 crore at a price band of ₹342 to ₹360 per share. Content businesses tend to see lumpy, project-linked earnings, so investors should look closely at the production pipeline and revenue visibility disclosed in the offer document rather than extrapolating a single strong year.

4. Shankesh Jewellers (18 - 20 Aug)

Unlike Lalithaa, Shankesh Jewellers runs a B2B, asset-light model, manufacturing handcrafted 22-karat and 18-karat gold jewellery through 72 job-workers for clients that include Joyalukkas, Kalyan Jewellers, P N Gadgil Jewellers and other established brands. The price band is ₹88 to ₹93 per share, with a ₹367 crore issue comprising ₹274 crore fresh issue and ₹93 crore offer for sale. Revenue for FY26 stood at roughly ₹1,631 crore with a profit after tax of about ₹107 crore. Because it sells to other jewellery brands rather than end consumers, its margin profile and client concentration are worth a closer read before applying.

5. Gaja Alternative Asset Management (19 - 21 Aug)

Operating under the well-known Gaja Capital brand, this is a private equity and alternative asset manager incorporated in 1999 with over two decades of fund cycles across Fund II, Fund III and Fund IV. The ₹550 crore issue is priced at ₹152 to ₹160 per share, split between a ₹450 crore fresh issue and a ₹100 crore offer for sale. This is one of the few pure asset-management listings on offer this year, and its income depends on management fees and carried interest rather than product sales, a business model Indian retail investors rarely get to buy into directly. 6. Tempsens Instruments (India) (20 - 24 Aug)

Rajasthan-based Tempsens Instruments is India's largest manufacturer of contact and non-contact temperature sensors by revenue, holding close to a 10.5% share of that segment in FY26. It also makes electrical heating solutions and specialised cables for sectors ranging from power and steel to aerospace, pharma, defence and nuclear, and exports to over 80 countries. The fresh issue is worth ₹95 crore, alongside an offer for sale of 1.85 crore shares, though the final price band was awaited at the time of writing. FY26 revenue rose to about ₹456 crore from ₹382 crore, with profit up from ₹63 crore to ₹71 crore. Investors should confirm the price band once officially announced before the 20 August opening. 7. Skyways Air Services (24 - 27 Aug)

Closing out the month, Skyways Air Services is a more than 40-year-old Delhi-headquartered air and ocean freight forwarding, customs broking and warehousing company. The ₹583 crore issue is priced at ₹131 to ₹138 per share, with a lot size of 100 shares. About ₹217 crore of the fresh issue proceeds will go towards repaying borrowings, and another ₹130 crore towards working capital. FY26 revenue came in at roughly ₹2,840 crore against ₹2,271 crore a year earlier, with profit rising from ₹48 crore to ₹64 crore. Logistics remains a volume business with thin margins, so the debt reduction plan is arguably the more important number here than the top line.
