Summary:

Zen Technologies share price moved higher after the company launched multiple AI-powered defence and anti-drone systems at North Tech Symposium 2026. The defence tech firm unveiled India’s first fully integrated AI-based anti-drone platform along with advanced cybersecurity, autonomous combat, and laser weapon systems. Investors are closely tracking Zen Technologies amid rising interest in AI stocks India and defence sector growth.

Zen Technologies Limited, a firm specialized in defense technology, launched indigenous next-generation defence products and technologies at the North Tech Symposium 2026 held in Prayagraj. This comes at a time when the company is expanding its reach in anti-drone warfare, cybersecurity, unmanned technology, simulation technology, ammunition, and directed energy weapons.

After the news was released, Zen Technologies Limited shares climbed by 2.92% to ₹1,613 on May 7, 2026. It started trading at ₹1,585 and hit a high of ₹1,656.80 against its last closing price of ₹1,567.20.

Seven New Defence Products Introduced

Seven new products and defence systems were unveiled by Zen Technologies at the symposium. The list of newly launched products includes the Artificial Intelligence-Based Zen Anti-Drone System, Zen Suraksha Cyber Security System, Zen Anti-Drone Simulation System, Zen Vrishab Autonomous Ground Combat Vehicle, 12.7mm and 30mm Smart Ammunition System, Zen HyperStrike Remote Attack System with a range of more than 400 km, and Zen Bijli Laser Directed Energy Weapon.

According to the company, these new product introductions are in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative of the Indian government.

India’s First AI-Powered Fully Integrated Anti-Drone System

One of the notable aspects of this event was the unveiling of India’s first fully integrated and modular anti-drone system powered by artificial intelligence. The company unveiled the system on the anniversary of Operation Sindoor with the aim of offering a solution against ever-evolving drone warfare threats in various conflict zones across the world.

As per the company’s claims, the system is entirely made in India within the IDDM concept with full sovereign intellectual property rights over it.

As per the company, contemporary warfare has been characterized by increased usage of low cost FPV drones and swarming techniques to overcome traditional air defense systems. This newly unveiled system has been designed to counter such emerging drone warfare threats.

Advanced Detection and Neutralization Capabilities

The system provides complete spectrum domination covering a bandwidth of 70 MHz to 12 GHz for effective detection and disruption through interference at different communication frequencies used by drones.

The system has been designed with extended detection capabilities, having a range beyond 15 km, where it can simultaneously detect more than 100 targets for engaging swarms of drones.

As informed by Zen Technologies, the platform provides multi-layered neutralisation technology, including RF jammers, GNSS jammers and spoofers, integration of RCWS with 12.7 mm & 7.62 mm calibres, ADGs, and kamikaze interceptors.

The platform also has a high-sensitivity local radar capable of detecting mini-drones with small RCS even up to 20 kilometres.

The heart of the platform is its Data Fusion & Command Centre, which intelligently uses AI algorithms on inputs from several sensors for threat classification, tracking, and coordinated management.

Multiple Deployment Configurations

According to Zen Technologies, the anti-drone system has been developed to be used in different kinds of battlefield and infrastructure protection settings.

In the vehicle-mounted setting, it offers fast deployment, convoy protection, and mobile area defense capabilities by being mounted on tactical and mobile combat vehicles.

The man-portable system has been created to provide dismounted soldiers as well as counter-insurgency forces with an easy-to-deploy, rugged system that can quickly detect and disable drones.

Lastly, the fixed stationary setting of the system is meant for 24/7 protection of important infrastructure, military facilities, and other significant installations.

Focus on Indigenous Defence Manufacturing

According to Zen Technologies, the launch of new products is a milestone that boosts India’s self-reliance in defence by enhancing the country’s capacity in areas such as anti-drone technology, cybersecurity, unmanned systems, simulators, next-generation ammunition, and directed energy weapons.

Presently, Zen Technologies runs an R&D centre for designing and manufacturing military equipment that is registered under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The company has registered more than 200 patents and supplied over 10,000 systems across the world.

Zen Technologies has more than three decades of expertise in developing defence training and combat-readiness systems.
