The public limited company Timken India Limited received its incorporation on June 15, 1987, while its equity shares trade on the National Stock Exchange of India and the BSE. The company maintains its registered office at 39-42, Electronics City, Phase II, Hosur Road, Bengaluru – 560 100. The company produces engineered bearings and industrial motion products and delivers related services to various industrial sectors. The company operates through three main business segments, which include engineered bearings and industrial motions, and services, while maintaining its core expertise in tapered roller bearings and developing its capabilities for spherical and cylindrical roller bearings. The company operates two manufacturing facilities, which are based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand and Bharuch, Gujarat.

 

The company generates revenue from domestic Indian operations and international exports, which it reports under three segments: India and the USA and Others. The Company maintains its production base in India through its non-current assets, which are situated throughout the country. The Independent Auditor’s Report indicates that Timken India operated without any subsidiaries or associates or joint ventures throughout the year, while showing zero subsidiaries.

 

The Company launched its expanded Bharuch manufacturing facility in April 2025 to produce cylindrical and spherical roller bearings for both domestic and international markets while starting commercial operations during Q1 2025–2026. The Company reached its highest Earnings Per Share value of Rs 59.48 during the financial year ending March 31, 2025.
