Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited (KPCL), founded as an engineering enterprise in 1958 and later merged with KG Khosla Compressors in 2002 before adopting its current name, designs and manufactures air, refrigeration, and gas compressors, gearboxes, and turnkey compression systems for oil and gas, steel, cement, food and beverage, marine, railways, and process industries across India and export markets. KPCL operates manufacturing facilities at Hadapsar, Saswad, Nashik, and supports bespoke, made-to-order systems with strong in-house R&D and over 200 engineers. As on March 31, 2025, KPCL’s standalone revenue from operations was Rs 1,628.63 crore and profit after tax was Rs 211.07 crore; consolidated revenue was Rs 1,640.17 crore and profit after tax was Rs 211.28 crore. The company’s offerings span reciprocating, screw and centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration systems, vapour absorption chillers, transmission gearboxes, CNG and gas compression packages, with over 1,000 gas compression installations globally. KPCL serves customers in more than 34 countries, though India remains its core market; it recorded 92% domestic and 8% export revenue mix, supported by a nationwide dealer network across 35 states and union territories. As of March 31, 2025, KPCL has one subsidiary—Systems Components India Private Limited (SC)—acquired on December 4, 2024 with a 55.26% stake to strengthen refrigeration and chiller packaging capabilities.
