Elgi Equipments Limited is an Indian air-compressor manufacturer incorporated on March 14, 1960, and commenced commercial production in the same year . The Group designs, manufactures and markets air compressors and related compressed‑air solutions, and also operates an automotive equipment business through its subsidiary ATS Elgi . Elgi serves all States and Union Territories in India and caters to more than 100 countries worldwide . As of the latest year, the Company has 25 subsidiaries and nine joint ventures/associates within its consolidated structure .
