Established in 1958 and incorporated in 1967, the Company has built a nearly seven-decade heritage of reliability, innovation and quality in wiring products and allied electrical solutions . Its diversified portfolio spans electrical cables, communication cables and a growing Fast-Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) range, including lighting, fans, water heaters, irons, smart door locks, smart switches, switchgear, accessories, and conduits & fittings . Manufacturing is anchored by five ISO-certified plants across Pimpri, Urse, Goa and Roorkee, supported by backward integration into key inputs such as Continuous Cast Copper rods, PVC compounds and optical fibre (with glass preforms to follow) . The pan-India distribution network comprises 600+ distributors, 5,000 channel partners and 2,15,000 retailers.
Finolex has a strong domestic footprint across 28 States and 8 Union Territories and supplies to 14 international markets; exports contributed approximately 1% of turnover in FY 2024–25 . The Company has zero subsidiaries; its investments include associates and joint ventures, but there are no subsidiary companies as of the reporting year.
