EIH Limited is a leading Indian hospitality company and a member of The Oberoi Group, incorporated in 1949 and headquartered in Kolkata with its corporate office in Delhi. The Company owns and manages premium luxury hotels and cruisers under ‘The Oberoi’ and ‘Trident’, and is also engaged in flight catering, airport restaurants, project management and corporate air charters. EIH’s footprint spans India and overseas markets, with properties and a luxury Nile cruiser across six countries, including Morocco, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (Al Zorah), Mauritius and Indonesia (Bali and Lombok) . As at March 31, 2025, the Group had eight subsidiaries .
The Oberoi legacy stretches back to 1934, when Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi began building what would become a benchmark in luxury hospitality, marked by milestones such as acquiring The Clarkes, Shimla (1938), taking control of Associated Hotels of India (1944), launching India’s first flight catering operation, Oberoi Flight Services (1957), and opening The Oberoi Intercontinental, New Delhi (1965). Today, EIH’s portfolio encompasses hotels, resorts and a luxury cruiser, with 30 hotels and cruisers totalling 4,229 keys (owned and managed) .

EIH has 21 properties in the pipeline by 2029, including two luxury riverboats and a Nile cruiser, with eight to be owned or co‑invested by the Company . It is also developing “The Oberoi Mayfair” in London through EIH London Investments Limited.
