Eicher Motors Limited (EML) is a global automobile company headquartered in Chennai, India. EML owns Royal Enfield—the world’s oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production—and is co-owner of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a long-standing partnership with AB Volvo focused on commercial vehicle transformation.

The company supports global demand with CKD (Completely Knocked Down) assembly in international markets to expand its manufacturing footprint and serve key geographies. As of the latest reporting year, EML has 13 subsidiaries (not listed here) across its motorcycles and commercial vehicles ecosystem. VECV manufactures and distributes Eicher trucks globally and assembles and distributes Volvo trucks and buses in India, strengthening EML’s presence across mobility segments .
