Its product suite spans 4WD transfer cases, synchroniser systems, automatic locking hubs, torque couplers, EV transmissions, and manual as well as automatic transmission solutions, supported by strong in-house engineering and software capabilities. Key milestones in Divgi-TTS’s evolution include its strategic separation from a long-standing technology partnership with BorgWarner in 2016 to pursue an independent product roadmap across manual, automatic, 4WD and EV transmissions; commissioning a third plant dedicated to EV transmission systems; introducing India’s first locally manufactured EV transmissions; and commissioning India’s first high-speed dynamometer for MT, EV and 4WD applications. Product and capacity: The Company introduced India’s first indigenous EV transmissions and developed five EV driveline products. It also commissioned India’s first high-speed dynamometer capable of testing MT, EV and 4WD systems. Investments continue at the Shirwal facility to expand transmission system manufacturing capacity.
Collaborations and technology: Divgi-TTS partnered with Hofer Powertrain (Stuttgart) on Dedicated Hybrid Transmissions and signed an MoU with a Japan-based global Tier-1 supplier for localisation of automatic transmissions in India. It also entered an MoU with BITS for collaborative R&D and knowledge exchange.
