About Chaman Lal Setia Exports Ltd

Founded in 1974 by Late Mr. Chaman Lal Setia, the business was incorporated as a partnership in 1983 and reconstituted as a public limited company in 1994. It listed on BSE in 1995 and on NSE on May 12, 2021. The Company is engaged in milling and processing of basmati rice and has been exporting since 1982; it is currently recognised as a “Star Export House.” Its products are sold Pan-India and in more than 90 countries across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Asia.

Flagship brands include Maharani rice, with Mithas and Begum as other basmati brands. The Company also sells non-basmati under Green World Aromatic Rice, and innovation/health-oriented lines such as Maharani Diabetics Rice, Basmati Rice Plus, and Maharani – Brown Basmati Rice (organic).

Manufacturing/operations footprint: a state-of-the-art automated rice processing unit at Karnal (Haryana) with installed capacity of 12 MT/hour; grading/sorting facilities at Karnal (Haryana) and Kandla (Gujarat); a packing unit at Mundra, Kutch (Gujarat); registered office at Amritsar; and corporate office at Gurugram.
