Bodal Chemicals Limited is a diversified chemical manufacturer with complete backward and forward integration, established in 1989 and headquartered in Ahmedabad. The Company’s portfolio spans more than 200 SKUs across five core verticals—dye intermediates, dyestuffs, basic chemicals, chlor-alkali, and specialty benzene derivatives—serving over 600 customers in 35+ countries. Its integrated model runs from basic raw materials to finished colourants, positioning Bodal as India’s largest integrated player in dyestuffs and dye intermediates.

The Company’s global reach is supported by domestic and international subsidiaries that enhance agility and local compliance. During the year, the subsidiary ecosystem contributed meaningfully, with strong sales traction in China and Indonesia and a stabilising environment in Turkey. Bodal maintains 11 depots—seven in India and one each in China, Turkey, Bangladesh, and Indonesia—to serve customers swiftly and efficiently .

As on the latest year, Bodal has six subsidiaries (including one step-down subsidiary). Key milestones include commissioning the greenfield Saykha facility on December 29, 2023, and adding benzene derivatives—MCB, PNCB, ONCB, MNCB and DCB—using German adiabatic nitration technology and India’s first continuous crystallisation system for PNCB sourced from Switzerland. In FY25, Saykha began commercial contribution, marking Bodal’s entry into higher-value, compliance-driven specialty chemicals. The Company also permanently discontinued its older Vatva units (Units I–III), with production absorbed at Vadodara and Kosi, lowering fixed overheads and improving environmental compliance. FY25 additionally saw anti-dumping duty implemented on TCCA imports from China, opening profitability levers, and the Company recorded the second-highest turnover in its history  .
