Balu Forge Industries Limited (BFIL) was established in 1989 by Mr. Prehlad Singh Chandock with the vision of manufacturing precision-engineered components for diverse industries. The Company began by producing crankshafts and soon expanded its portfolio to include forged components for automotive, defence, aerospace, railways, agriculture, and industrial machinery. Over the years, BFIL has achieved several milestones such as exporting its first component in 1991, becoming a supplier of choice to over 25 global OEMs across five continents in 2014, and completing its transition into a publicly listed company in 2020.
BFIL today operates four fully integrated manufacturing facilities, including a greenfield campus in Belgaum, Karnataka, and one unit in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Its advanced infrastructure features 7-axis and 11-axis CNC machining, robotic handling, anti-vibration systems, and automated forging presses. The Company also has a dedicated in-house R&D centre with metallurgical labs and additive manufacturing capabilities, enabling the rapid prototyping and development of specialised alloys. With exports to more than 80 countries, BFIL generates over 70% of its revenue from international markets.
