About Shankesh Jewellers IPO

Incorporated in 2005 and based in Zaveri Bazar, Mumbai, Shankesh Jewellers manufactures and provides customised handcrafted 22-karat and 18-karat gold jewellery, with a portfolio spanning bangles, bridal jewellery, chokers, jhumkas, necklace sets, mangalsutras, and rings across antique, semi-antique, Calcutta, temple, and polish categories. The company serves both corporate and non-corporate clients across India, including established jewellery brands, and also provides custom job work services. Revenue grew from ₹1,403.94 crore in FY25 to ₹1,630.93 crore in FY26, with profit rising from ₹40.31 crore to ₹106.68 crore over the same period.

The IPO comprised a fresh issue of roughly 2.95 crore shares worth ₹274.18 crore and an offer for sale of 1 crore shares worth ₹93 crore, taking the total issue size to ₹367.18 crore. The price band was set at ₹88–₹93 per share, with a lot size of 160 shares — meaning retail investors needed a minimum investment of about ₹14,880 for one lot. Aryaman Financial Services and Smart Horizon Capital Advisors were the book-running lead managers, and Kfin Technologies is the registrar for the issue.

What Happens Once Shankesh Jewellers IPO Allotment is Out?

Once the basis of allotment is finalised, investors fall into one of two outcomes. If shares are allotted, they will be credited to your demat account by August 24, 2026, and the corresponding amount blocked via UPI mandate or ASBA will be debited from your bank account. If shares are not allotted, the blocked amount will be released back to your account on the same date. Investors receiving a partial allotment will have the remaining blocked amount unblocked accordingly.

Given the issue was subscribed 2.80 times overall — with NII demand at 5.68 times outpacing retail subscription of 2.42 times — allotment chances vary by category, with NII applicants more likely to face proportionate allotment while retail investors have a somewhat better shot given the more moderate oversubscription. Missing out on allotment doesn't rule out participation altogether — once Shankesh Jewellers lists on the exchanges, investors can still buy shares through the regular secondary market, though the market price may differ meaningfully from the IPO price. Once shares are credited, they can be tracked and traded from the listing date, August 25, 2026, when Shankesh Jewellers shares debut on the BSE and NSE.
