Share

Summary:

Lenskart, Tejas Networks, Star Cement, Wipro and other stocks are in focus following block deals, new orders, strategic partnerships and regulatory developments. Tejas Networks received a ₹1,537 crore BSNL 4G equipment order, while Star Cement stands to benefit from the removal of mineral cess. Lenskart faces a potential ₹1,313 crore stake sale, while RPP Infra Projects saw a ₹205.89 crore order terminated.

Several stocks are likely to remain in focus during Friday's trading session following developments ranging from large block deals and new orders to strategic partnerships, project cancellations and regulatory changes. Lenskart Solutions, Texmaco Rail and Engineering, Tejas Networks, NBCC (India), Wipro, Adani Power, RPP Infra Projects, Star Cement, Dr Agarwal's Health Care and Union Bank of India are among the key stocks to watch.

Lenskart Solutions

Lenskart Solutions could remain under pressure as Alpha Wave Ventures is reportedly likely to sell a 1.2% stake through a block deal. The offer size is estimated at around ₹1,313 crore, with the floor price fixed at ₹630 per share. Investors will track the transaction closely as a sizeable stake sale by an existing investor could influence near-term trading sentiment and liquidity in the stock.

Tejas Networks

Tejas Networks is in focus after receiving a Letter of Intent from Tata Consultancy Services for the supply of RAN equipment, accessories and installation materials for BSNL's 4G mobile network. The order covers 18,685 sites and is valued at ₹1,537 crore. The development strengthens the company's order visibility and highlights its role in India's ongoing telecom network expansion.

Texmaco Rail and NBCC

Texmaco Rail and Engineering signed an MoU with Germany-based Bochumer Verein Verkehrstechnik GmbH to explore collaboration in railway wheels, wheelsets, axles and related rail vehicle components. The development could create opportunities for technology collaboration and expansion in railway component manufacturing.

NBCC (India) also remains in focus after securing multiple construction orders worth ₹134.27 crore from government and banking institutions, adding to its order book and execution pipeline.

Wipro

Wipro announced an expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud to accelerate enterprise-wide adoption of Gemini Enterprise and agentic AI. The company is also scaling internal deployment and plans to empower more than 10,000 AI-certified specialists, including 1,500 Forward Deployed Engineers, with advanced AI capabilities. The move underlines Wipro's focus on AI-led transformation and productivity.

Star Cement

Star Cement could see positive investor interest after the company and its subsidiaries were exempted from paying mineral cess from August 22, 2026, following amendments to the MMDR Act. The company previously paid ₹25 per tonne on shale and ₹60 per tonne on limestone in Meghalaya. It paid ₹35.50 crore in FY26 and ₹10.15 crore so far in FY27. The removal of the cess could provide a meaningful cost benefit going forward.

Adani Power and RPP Infra Projects

Adani Power has agreed to sell its entire stake in Chandenvalle Infra Park to AdaniConneX for ₹535.69 crore. Following completion, the entity will cease to be a subsidiary of Adani Power.

RPP Infra Projects, meanwhile, faces a negative development after the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu terminated a ₹205.89 crore work order for the Global Sports City project. The project is being restructured and redesigned to develop a larger sports facility.

Healthcare and Banking Stocks

Dr Agarwal's Health Care is in focus after its subsidiary launched the world's first Pinhole Pupilloplasty Centre in Chennai, expanding its specialised ophthalmology capabilities.

Health Care Stock In India

Union Bank of India also warrants attention after S&P Global Ratings assigned a 'BBB' long-term issue rating to senior unsecured US dollar-denominated notes issued by its Dubai International Financial Centre branch.
