SEPC Limited has announced the receipt of a substantial order valued at ₹650 crore for executing a 133 MW AC solar power project across 26 locations in Maharashtra. Awarded by Parmeshi Urja Limited, the project involves full engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) responsibilities and marks a notable development in SEPC’s efforts to expand its footprint in India’s renewable energy sector.
SEPC Limited has secured a significant engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a 133 MW AC solar power project from Parmeshi Urja Limited, Kolkata. This ₹650 crore order will cover 26 locations across four districts in Maharashtra, India.
The Letter of Award (LOA), received on June 10, 2025, marks a major development for SEPC’s renewable energy portfolio. This project will be executed in collaboration with the awarding company, with timelines to be mutually agreed upon during site-specific kick-off meetings.
Following the announcement, SEPC share price gained over 3% as of 12:35 PM, trading at ₹14.21 on June 12, 2025.
The project entails a full EPC responsibility for SEPC, covering site preparation, procurement of equipment, installation and commissioning of solar power systems. With the project being purely domestic, the execution will be concentrated in Maharashtra, contributing to India’s clean energy ambitions.
The detailed execution plan will be finalised during kick-off meetings to be held at each of the 26 sites. While a definitive timeline is yet to be announced, such projects typically span several months and involve coordination with multiple stakeholders.
