Once you apply for IPO, the exchange sends you a request to block funds equivalent to the amount applied. This request will be received on the UPI handle that was used to apply for IPO.
Your application will be considered successful once the funds are blocked.
Note: All IPO transactions are UPI linked, hence, transferring funds to Ventura account is not required.
