Indo-MIM IPO Day 3 subscription status showing strong demand across investor categories.
Share

Indo-MIM's IPO witnessed strong demand on the final day of bidding, with the issue subscribed 7.59 times by late morning on July 27. Robust participation from NII, QIB and retail investors reflects broad-based interest ahead of the July 30 listing.

Indo-MIM's IPO has entered its third and final day of bidding on July 27, 2026, and demand has turned red hot. The Bangalore-based company is a global player in Metal Injection Moulding technology, making precision components for automotive, defence, medical, consumer, and aerospace industries since 1996.

This is a ₹3,811.21 crore issue, made up of a ₹499.10 crore fresh issue and a ₹3,311.21 crore offer for sale. Part of the money raised funds the business, mainly to repay borrowings, while the rest goes to selling shareholders.

Price band remains ₹461 to ₹485 per share, lot size 30 shares. Retail investors need ₹14,550 to apply at the upper band. Listing is expected July 30 on both BSE and NSE.

Live Subscription Data (Update in Real Time): Category-wise Breakdown on Day 3

The final day has seen a massive surge in bidding, with the issue now several times oversubscribed.

CategorySubscription (Day 3)
Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB)1.11x
Non-Institutional Investors (NII)8.44x
Retail Individual Investors (RII)1.89x
Overall7.59x

Figures as of 11:27 AM, July 27, 2026 (Day 3, closing day). The issue closes this evening, and numbers will keep climbing till the window shuts, with some trackers already showing the overall figure past 7.5x.

What Day 3 Numbers Indicate

The NII category has exploded to 8.44x, a huge jump from Day 2's already-strong 5.10x. This is classic last-day behaviour, big HNI money funded through NBFC loans typically piles in during the final hours once investors are confident about listing gains, and that's exactly what's playing out here.

QIB has finally crossed the 1x mark, now at 1.11x, up from just 0.31x on Day 2. Institutional bids traditionally land late, and this confirms mutual funds and FIIs have shown up in force on the closing day.

Retail is holding steady at 1.89x, comfortably oversubscribed, which means retail allotment will be decided purely by lottery.

With the overall subscription already at 7.59x by late morning and climbing, this IPO has turned into one of the stronger mainboard listings of the current batch.

Day-wise IPO Subscription Trend

DayOverall Subscription
Day 11.05x
Day 21.85x
Day 3 (Final, as of 11:27 AM)7.59x

The jump from 1.85x to past 7x within hours of Day 3 opening shows just how much institutional and HNI demand was held back for the final stretch.

Should You Apply for INDO-MIM IPO?

Some points worth weighing on the last day:

  • The company is financially strong. FY26 total income rose 28.1% year-on-year to ₹4,320.70 crore, and profit after tax grew 25.9% to ₹533.54 crore.
  • It's a mix of fresh issue and OFS, so part of the money raised actually funds the business, including debt repayment, rather than going entirely to shareholders exiting.
  • Grey market premium has climbed to around ₹185 to ₹196 as of July 27, suggesting a listing gain of roughly 38% to 40% over the upper band. This is the highest GMP has been through the entire bidding window. GMP is unofficial and can shift before listing, so treat it as sentiment, not a promise.
  • Retail is oversubscribed at 1.89x, so allotment there will run through a lottery.
  • With NII past 8x and QIB now oversubscribed too, this issue has closed strong across every category, a good sign of broad-based demand rather than just one segment driving the numbers.
