Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on July 24, 2025, that its Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical has secured "large" orders both within India and internationally. A "large" order, as per L&T's classification, ranges from ₹2,500 crore to ₹5,000 crore.
In India, the B&F business has received multiple orders from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for projects in Amaravati. These include the construction of the Integrated Andhra Pradesh State Secretariat & HoD Offices (Towers 3 & 4) on a design and construction basis. This specific project involves building two towers, each with a configuration of basement + ground + 39 floors, along with an amenities building. Additionally, L&T will construct 21 residential towers in Amaravati. The scope for these residential towers covers the construction of the RCC shell and core, architectural finishes, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary fixtures, firefighting provisions, lifts, DG sets, HVAC systems, building security systems, internal roads, hardscaping, and landscaping.
The B&F business has also secured an order from a prominent developer for the construction of residential towers in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This project entails the construction of RCC shell and core structures for two luxury towers with a configuration of 1B+1G+5P+59 floors, reaching a height of up to 200 meters.
Internationally, the B&F division of L&T Oman has received a repeat order from a prestigious client for the construction of a premium office space in Muscat. This project involves the construction of three identical towers, each with a G+8 floor configuration, built above a shared two-level basement. The project also includes a central landscaped plaza. The scope of work encompasses civil, architectural, MEP, internal finishes for common areas, hardscaping, and landscaping.
L&T share price surged by 0.24% on an intraday basis on Thursday as the company received a large order in Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical. As of 12:16 am IST, Larsen & Toubro is trading at ₹3,469.50, showing an intraday decline of 0.44%.
