Jubilant Agri launches Ammonium Phosphate Sulphate fertiliser, expanding its NP complex portfolio to boost Indian agriculture with balanced nutrients.

Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products Limited launched its new fertiliser product, Ammonium Phosphate Sulphate, as part of its strategic portfolio expansion. The official launch took place in May 2025, and the product is set to cater exclusively to the domestic market.

This launch was formally intimated to the exchanges in accordance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) regulations, 2015, as amended.

Strengthening the NP complex fertilisers segment

The newly introduced Ammonium Phosphate Sulphate falls under the NP (Nitrogen and Phosphorus) complex fertilisers category. With its balanced nutrient composition of 20% Nitrogen, 20% Phosphorus, and 13% Sulphur, this product is aimed at enhancing soil fertility and crop productivity across India's vast agricultural regions.

Jubilant Agri's entry into this segment marks progress towards addressing the growing need for balanced fertilisers that offer both macro and secondary nutrients. The inclusion of sulphur, an essential nutrient often overlooked in traditional fertilisers, is expected to address critical soil deficiencies faced by Indian farmers.

With this domestic-market focus, Jubilant Agri reaffirmed its commitment to Indian agriculture. The launch was strategically timed with the onset of the upcoming sowing season, offering farmers a more efficient nutrient solution to optimise crop yields.

Though the company did not disclose investment figures, analysts anticipate a notable revenue increase in the upcoming quarters, driven by enhanced product offerings and targeted agronomic support.
