Diamond Power Infrastructure secures a ₹71.46 crores LT cable supply order from Adani Electricity, to be executed by March 2026.
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL), one of India’s largest single-location manufacturers of power cables and conductors, has announced the receipt of a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML). The order, valued at ₹71.46 crores, is for the supply of assorted sizes of Low Tension (LT) cables.
Order details and execution timeline
The contract entails the supply of LT cables on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis to AEML's Mumbai distribution business, specifically to their Distributing Transaction Processing (DTP) stores. The purchase order has been awarded on a per-kilometre rate basis, incorporating a Price Variation (PV) formula. The execution of the order is scheduled to be completed by March 2026.
DPIL has clarified that this order does not fall under related-party transactions, and none of the company's promoters or promoter group companies have any interest in AEML.
