The BSE Sensex rose 0.43% to close at 80,951.08, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained 0.43% to settle at 24,689.65. The uptrend was driven by IT stocks, supported by an extension of the US-China trade truce, which helped ease concerns over a potential US economic slowdown. Investors now await key domestic and U.S. inflation data.

Meanwhile, Time Technoplast Limited, in its Board of Directors meeting held on August 12, approved unaudited Q1FY26 financial results, a significant bonus share issue, an increase in authorised share capital, and the re-appointment of whole-time directors. 

Time Technoplast Q1FY26 Results

For the quarter ended June 30, 2025, the company reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹1,352.65 crore, marking a year-on-year (YoY) growth of about 9.97% compared to ₹1,230.05 crore in Q1FY25. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, revenue declined 7.9% from ₹1,468.74 crore in Q4FY25.

Consolidated Net Profit After Tax (PAT, includes exceptional items) stood at ₹96.55 crore, up 20% YoY from ₹80.46 crore in Q1FY25, but down 13.7% QoQ from ₹111.81 crore in Q4FY25. 

Operating EBITDA Margin stood at 14.47%, while the Net Profit Margin was 7.13%. 

Time Technoplast Segment Performance

In Q1FY26, the Polymer Products segment posted revenue of ₹861.29 crore, up 7.30% YoY from ₹802.71 crore, with profit before tax and interest at ₹88.04 crore, rising 8.46% from ₹81.17 crore. The Composite Products segment reported revenue of ₹491.35 crore, up 14.98% YoY from ₹427.34 crore, and profit before tax and interest of ₹62.18 crore, up 18.73% from ₹52.37 crore.

Time Technoplast Proposed Issue of Bonus Shares

Time Technoplast Limited’s Board has approved issuing bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1, meaning shareholders will get one additional share for every share they already own. The issue will be made from the company’s securities premium account, which had a balance of ₹303.996 crore as of March 31, 2025.

The company will issue 22.69 crore bonus shares worth ₹22.69 crore, doubling its paid-up share capital from ₹22.69 crore to ₹45.39 crore. The record date for determining eligible shareholders will be announced later. The bonus issue is subject to shareholders’ and regulatory approvals, with the shares expected to be credited by October 9, 2025.

Time Technoplast to Increase in Authorised Share Capital

Time Technoplast Limited will increase its authorised share capital from ₹52.50 crore to ₹100 crore to meet future business needs. The revised structure will allow up to 97.50 crore equity shares of ₹1 each and 25 lakh redeemable preference shares of ₹10 each. 

The company’s 35th Annual General Meeting is scheduled for September 11, 2025.

On Tuesday, Time Tecnolpast share price was down by nearly 3% at ₹451 on NSE, as of 10:11 am IST.
