Infosys Eyes AI-Led Transformation

Infosys entered into a strategic partnership with Harness for enabling the acceleration of agentic AI-based transformation of software development processes within enterprises worldwide. This will enable Infosys to gain a strong foothold within the fast-emerging domain of IT services powered by artificial intelligence.

GAIL Signs LNG Carrier Agreement

There is a long-term charter party agreement between GAIL (India) and Alpha Gas with respect to the LNG carrier “Energy Fidelity.” The deal has been finalized with the help of Pantheon Maritime Services, an associate of the Greek shipping major operating out of Singapore.

Aurobindo Pharma Gets USFDA Nod

Aurobindo Pharma obtained the final marketing authorization from the USFDA for the manufacturing and marketing of dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets available in 4 strengths: 5 mg/500 mg, 5 mg/1000 mg, 10 mg/500 mg, and 10 mg/1000 mg.

It is bioequivalent to AstraZeneca’s branded formulation of Xigduo XR and will be produced at Unit IV of APL Healthcare. An immediate commercialization of this drug is planned by the company. It is indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Biocon Launches Key Products in US

News has been released regarding the market launch of the two products, Bosaya and Aukelso, by Biocon in the United States. The products have been approved for interchangeability designation by the US FDA in September 2025.

Swan Defence Bags Mega Shipbuilding Order

Swan Defence & Heavy Industries won an order from Energy ONE for four 92,500 DWT dual-fuel ammonia bulk carriers, with a deal size of ₹1,500-3,000 crore. These would be the first ammonia dual-fuel ships in India, with the first ship due to deliver by October 2029.

Prostarm Info Systems Secures EPC Order, Signs MoU

Prostarm Info Systems bagged a Letter of Award valued at ₹165 crores from Solarium Green Energy for undertaking EPC projects for a solar photovoltaic plant with 50 MWac capacity in Maharashtra.

Furthermore, it inked an MoU with Shenzhen Topband Co. to forge a strategic tie-up in battery energy storage systems.

Arvind SmartSpaces Expands Mumbai Footprint

The high rise project, located in Goregaon West, Mumbai, for Arvind SmartSpaces has now been announced with a top line value of about ₹2,400 crore. It will feature a saleable carpet area of about 0.67 million square feet.

Clean Max Commissions Hybrid Renewable Project

The Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions company initiated the development of 185 MW renewable hybrid energy plant in Kalavad. It is projected that it will start giving annual contribution exceeding ₹165 crores starting FY27 after stabilization. This project took about one year to be completed.

Aditya Birla Capital Gets CCI Approval

Aditya Birla Capital has been approved by the Competition Commission of India for the infusion of primary capital amounting to about ₹2,750 crore in its subsidiary firm, Aditya Birla Housing Finance, through Indriya owned by Advent International. This is set to be beneficial for the lending business.

Improving Dredging Corporation’s Regional Connectivity

An MoU was signed between Dredging Corporation of India and Colombo Dockyard Plc, which will help build a strong relationship between India and Sri Lanka in terms of shipping and open doors for cooperation in regional projects.

Consideration of Interim Dividend by Muthoot Finance

Muthoot Finance stated that its board will be meeting on April 10 to decide the company’s interim dividend payout in FY26.

SRF Faces Tax Demand, Seeks Rectification

A tax demand was issued against SRF in respect of ₹327.44 crores, including interest amounting to ₹101.77 crores due to certain technical error in the assessment order, which resulted in addition of some figures of ₹30.54 crores as taxable income.

The company is confident that after correction of the technical error in the assessment order, the tax demand will be revoked.

Aditya Birla Real Estate Sees Strong Demand

Birla Arika Phase 2 is a luxurious residential project from Aditya Birla Real Estate through its subsidiary Birla Estates, which garnered bookings worth ₹1,600 crore.

The entire inventory of 156 apartments was almost sold out within just one month of the project being launched, with more than 97% sales achieved.

Outlook
