On Tuesday, June 3, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) shares were trading at ₹3,624, down 1.51% at 2:00 PM. The company announced on June 3 that its Water & Effluent Treatment (WET) business secured significant orders from Rajasthan's Public Health Engineering Department. Below are details of the order:
L&T's Water & Effluent Treatment (WET) business has bagged major orders from Rajasthan’s Public Health Engineering Department. It will work on the Rajasthan Rural Water Supply and Fluorosis Mitigation Project – Phase II, covering 5,251 km of pipelines, 38 ground reservoirs, 20 pump houses, and 132 overhead tanks to serve 285 villages and towns in Jhunjhunu district.
Another project includes upgrading the water supply system in the Kekri-Sarwar area of Ajmer with 43 km of pipelines. Both projects also include automation, SCADA work, 1-year defect liability, and 10 years of maintenance. These repeat orders highlight L&T's strong track record, with 24 water projects already completed in Rajasthan.
L&T reported a strong Q4 FY25 with order inflow at ₹89,600 crore (+24% YoY) and revenue at ₹74,400 crore (+11% YoY). PAT rose 25% YoY to ₹5,500 crore, aided by strong execution and a ₹475 crore exceptional gain. EBITDA margin stood at 11%, and FY25 free cash flow was ₹17,400 crore.
L&T delivered a strong FY25 with order inflow at ₹3,56,600 crore (+18% YoY) and revenue at ₹2,55,700 crore (+16% YoY), taking the order book to ₹5,79,100 crore (+22% YoY). PAT rose 15% YoY to ₹15,000 crore, with ROE improving 140 bps to 16.3% and NWC/Revenue at a 10-year low of 11%. The company generated ₹17,400 crore in free cash flow and announced a ₹34 dividend per share.
