Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) is set to consider a bonus share issue in its board meeting on 22 May 2025. The company has previously issued bonuses in 2008, 2013, 2017, and 2019. It is also known for consistent dividends.

In a recent development, CONCOR announced that its Board of Directors will consider a proposal for the issue of bonus shares at a meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2025. This will not be the first time the company has issued bonus shares to its shareholders.

The first bonus ex-date of CONCOR was April 16, 2008, with a bonus ratio of 1:1, meaning shareholders received one additional share for every share held. The record date was April 17, 2008.
The second issue took place on September 6, 2013 in a 1:2 ratio, offering one bonus share for every two shares held, with the record date being September 10, 2013.
On April 5, 2017, the company issued a 1:4 bonus, where shareholders received one share for every four shares held, with April 6, 2017 as the record date.
The most recent bonus was announced on February 4, 2019 in the same 1:4 ratio, and the record date was February 5, 2019.
The record date is the cut-off date set by the company to determine which shareholders are eligible to receive the corporate benefit—in this case, the bonus shares.
