Bharti Airtel shares rose over 2.75% after announcing strong Q4 FY25 results, including a ₹16 dividend, 27.3% revenue growth, improved ARPU, and net profit of ₹5,223 crore, with the stock gaining nearly 42% in one year.
Bharti Airtel’s share price climbed over 2.75% in Wednesday morning trade, following the company’s announcement of its Q4 and full-year results for FY25. As of 11:50 am on May 14, the stock was trading at ₹1,832.10 per share, up from its previous close of ₹1,820.
Bharti Airtel reported strong growth in its March 2025 quarter results. The company’s average revenue per user (ARPU), a key performance indicator in the telecom industry, rose to ₹245, a 17% increase from ₹209 in the same quarter last year. Airtel’s India subscriber base also saw a 17% rise, reaching 42.4 crore users.
Bharti Airtel reported its Q4 FY25 results with a strong performance across key financial metrics. The company’s overall customer base reached approximately 591 million across 15 countries.
Consolidated revenue for the quarter stood at ₹47,876 crore, marking a 27.3% year-on-year (YoY) growth. EBITDA came in at ₹27,404 crore, up 39.9% YoY, with a healthy EBITDA margin of 57.2%.
Net profit before exceptional items stood at ₹5,223 crore, while capital expenditure during the quarter was ₹14,401 crore.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2025, Bharti Airtel reported consolidated revenues of ₹1,72,985 crore, up 15.3% YoY. Full-year consolidated EBITDA was ₹94,249 crore with an EBITDA margin of 54.5%, an improvement of 1.8% YoY.
India EBITDA for the year stood at ₹74,768 crore, with the margin improving by 2.8% YoY to 56.6%. Consolidated net profit before exceptional items for the year was ₹17,573 crore.
For FY25, the Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹16 per share. The record date is yet to be announced.
On the year-to-date basis, the stock has soared by 14.97% while in the last month it is up by 4.01%. In the last 12 months, the stock is up by 41.91%, and in the longer period of 5 years, it has surged 249.45%.
