ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, has signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SJVN Limited for a renewable energy project with a total capacity of 450 MW / 1,800 MWh. The agreements were signed on March 2, 2026, and carry a tenor of 25 years, strengthening the company’s long-term renewable energy supply commitments.
The PPAs were awarded under the Tranche-FDRE-4 tender issued as per Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines. The project was secured following an e-reverse auction conducted on October 9, 2025, after which the Letter of Award (LOA) was received on November 10, 2025. The projects will be connected to Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) substations, enabling efficient integration of the generated power into the national grid.
A key feature of the project is the use of night-time connectivity in high-irradiation zones of Rajasthan available to ACME Solar. Under the terms of the agreements, the company will provide four hours of assured peak power supply during non-solar hours while maintaining 90% availability on both a monthly and an annual basis. This structure ensures a reliable electricity supply even when solar generation is unavailable.
With the signing of these agreements, ACME Solar has executed 1,690 MW of PPAs during the current financial year, taking its total PPA-signed capacity to 6,270 MW. The company’s diversified renewable portfolio has expanded to 8,071 MW, covering solar, wind, storage, hybrid, and Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects.
Within the overall portfolio, the company currently has 2,966 MW of operational contracted capacity, while 5,105 MW of contracted capacity is under construction. The portfolio also includes approximately 17 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installations, strengthening ACME Solar’s capability to provide firm and dispatchable renewable energy.
ACME Solar continues to leverage its in-house Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) capabilities. This integrated model allows the company to manage end-to-end project development and execution, enabling timely delivery, cost efficiency, and maintenance of a strong Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) and operating margins.
In its latest financial results, ACME Solar reported a 1.5% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹113.71 crore in Q3 FY26, compared with Q3 FY25. The company’s net sales rose 42.3% to ₹496.62 crore during the same period.
ACME Solar Holdings Limited's share price jumped over 5% on Wednesday. As of 2:52 pm, the stock price was trading at ₹ 240 per share, up by 4.24%. On a YTD basis, the stock price is up by 0.91%, while in the last year it is up by over 21%
