SEBI has announced a revised framework for retail algo trading, set to take effect from April 1, 2026. Adhering to these guidelines is compulsory and not complying with them could lead to disruption or complete stoppage of your automated trading systems.

Key change from April 1, 2026

Static IP Mandate

• Order placement via APIs will be permitted only through a registered App ID mapped to a whitelisted static IP address. This enforces a strict one app–one IP policy, and any orders sent from unapproved sources will be automatically blocked.
• As per regulatory requirements, please share your primary and secondary static IP addresses to activate your app keys. You can send your app key along with the IP details to apisupport@venturasecurities.com.
