Narayana Health has recorded notable clinical milestones, including Karnataka’s first ankle replacement and India’s first knee replacement using the smallest 3D-printed patient-specific implant. It also performed a pioneering radiofrequency ablation for a foetus with congenital heart disease at 22 weeks’ gestation, enabling full-term delivery . In cardiac sciences, its teams conducted 35,000+ diagnostics, 18,500+ interventions, 16,500+ surgeries, and 5,000+ electrophysiology procedures, with 300+ robotic cardiac surgeries at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Narayana Health City, and crossed 5,000 cumulative cardiac surgeries at Narayana Hospital Howrah . Neurosciences achievements included Rajasthan’s first Deep Brain Stimulation, a rare mechanical thrombectomy on an ECMO-supported patient at R N Tagore, and more than 100 epilepsy surgeries at SRCC Children’s Hospital, Mumbai; oncology and orthopaedics saw 8,500+ and 13,000+ surgeries respectively .
