Aster DM Healthcare Limited operates as a major healthcare service provider across India through its network of multi-specialty hospitals and clinics and laboratories and licensed pharmacies. The Company operated 19 hospitals with 5,159 beds and 262 labs and patient experience centers and 203 pharmacies through Alfaone Retail Pharmacies Private Limited under Aster brand license and 10 clinics across five states in FY 2024–25. The healthcare services span from primary to quaternary levels through its “We’ll Treat You Well” promise.
The company began as a single-doctor clinic in Dubai during 1987 before entering India through MIMS Kozhikode in 2001 and then built Aster Medcity (Kerala) and Aster CMI (Bengaluru) in 2014. The company launched Aster Labs in 2020 followed by the introduction of an asset-light O&M model in 2022 before conducting multiple business expansions during 2023. The Company separated its GCC and India operations in 2024 before announcing its merger with Quality Care India Limited (QCIL) during the 2024–25 fiscal year and introducing the Aster Health App during this time.
The Group finished its GCC business divestment on April 3 2024 and began operating as a single Indian-focused entity. The consolidated group information report from March 31 2025 shows 10 direct subsidiaries and additional step-down subsidiaries. The company achieved two key milestones during 2018 when it listed on NSE and BSE and it continues to expand its capacity to reach 5,159 beds in FY25 while focusing its operations on the Indian market.
The Hospitals and Clinics segment generates 94% of the company’s revenue during FY25 while Labs and Wholesale Pharmacy operations produce 6% of revenue.
