– Strategic restructuring: The Board approved a Scheme of Amalgamation of Cavendish Industries Limited with JK Tyre on September 16, 2024, with the Appointed Date of April 1, 2025, subject to requisite approvals .
– Capital actions: On September 16, 2024, the Company allotted 1,32,96,398 equity shares (face value Rs 2) upon conversion of 24,000 Compulsorily Convertible Debentures at Rs 180.50 per share, as per issue terms .
– Portfolio expansion in smart mobility: JK Tyre increased its stake in Treel Mobility Solutions Private Ltd. from 26 to 66 per cent, making it a subsidiary with effect from February 19, 2025 .
– Manufacturing and capacity projects: Ongoing projects include Passenger Car Radial expansion (Phase II) at Banmore; a new All Steel Light Truck Radial line at the Vikrant Tyre Plant; and enhanced Precured Tread Rubber capacity at Kankroli .
– International business: In Mexico, the Group introduced about 30 new products for the Mexican and US markets and launched the ‘American Cargo’ tyre, while adding 40+ distributors to deepen market reach .
– Market and brand presence: JK Tyre showcased at The Tire Cologne; launched new OTR models at Bauma Conexpo; participated in the Agri & Horti Technology Expo; unveiled the UX Green Tyre at Bharat Mobility Expo; and marked the rollout of its 100th truck wheel .
