JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. (JK Tyre), the flagship of the J.K. Organisation, is a leading Indian tyre manufacturer and ranks among the top 20 tyre makers globally. A pioneer of radial technology in India, the Company manufactures tyres for Truck and Bus, Light and Small Commercial Vehicles, Passenger Cars (including high-performance racing vehicles), Two- and Three-Wheelers, and Farm and Off-the-Road equipment. It also offers value-added solutions such as TPMS-enabled Smart Tyres and retreads for OEMs, the aftermarket, institutional buyers (including defence), and exports, with a strong emphasis on technology and quality-led R&D . JK Tyre’s journey has grown from a single plant to 11 state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities with a capacity of 35 million tyres .

The Group has manufacturing plants in India and Mexico and a worldwide distribution network. It reaches customers through over 200 distributors across more than 100 countries, strengthening presence even amid geopolitical disruptions  . As at the latest year, JK Tyre has 16 subsidiaries (Indian and overseas) .

Key milestones include: introducing radial technology in India; launching Smart Tyres; and brand recognition as a ‘Superbrand’ for the 10th consecutive time, underscoring its consumer franchise and product leadership .

– Strategic restructuring: The Board approved a Scheme of Amalgamation of Cavendish Industries Limited with JK Tyre on September 16, 2024, with the Appointed Date of April 1, 2025, subject to requisite approvals .

– Capital actions: On September 16, 2024, the Company allotted 1,32,96,398 equity shares (face value Rs 2) upon conversion of 24,000 Compulsorily Convertible Debentures at Rs 180.50 per share, as per issue terms .

– Portfolio expansion in smart mobility: JK Tyre increased its stake in Treel Mobility Solutions Private Ltd. from 26 to 66 per cent, making it a subsidiary with effect from February 19, 2025  .

– Manufacturing and capacity projects: Ongoing projects include Passenger Car Radial expansion (Phase II) at Banmore; a new All Steel Light Truck Radial line at the Vikrant Tyre Plant; and enhanced Precured Tread Rubber capacity at Kankroli .

– International business: In Mexico, the Group introduced about 30 new products for the Mexican and US markets and launched the ‘American Cargo’ tyre, while adding 40+ distributors to deepen market reach .

– Market and brand presence: JK Tyre showcased at The Tire Cologne; launched new OTR models at Bauma Conexpo; participated in the Agri & Horti Technology Expo; unveiled the UX Green Tyre at Bharat Mobility Expo; and marked the rollout of its 100th truck wheel .
